Joy

 As we are strangers in real life I have to explain the humour of this one…. I am totally bilingual & a lot of French people, on meeting me when I’m with my husband or english speaking friends who don’t necessarily speak or understand french and that I therefore translate to, will often comment on what good english I speak for a French person. I have spoken french since 1960, could read it before I was able to read english, it is very definitely a habit for me although I came away from my first year of school with the “Prix d’Excellence” (40 pupils- 27 nationalities including French) This little “frog” leaping with joy called to me for the prompt! Bonjour les amis 👋🏻

High mountains, deep blue skies, shade from the larch trees, twitter of little birds & the occasional skirl of an eagle make this a beautiful place to chill/read … oh wait, there’s also the occasional roar from a passing motorbike that rudely interrupts!
