Digital imagery

I have never really done much dipping of the toes in the whole digital scene....it's all I can do to stay on top of blogger but this week DLP want us to use digital imagery/what makes your heart sing!

Fortunately one of the team talked about an app that works on iPads so I went over to check out how much of a mortgage I'd need,no pain....79 pence so this happy bunny made a purchase.

I've used an image of the Fort de Savoie that lies at the north of Colmars les Alpes just along the valley from our holiday home. I captured the original image one evening shortly before a storm

I just love the light on the building....

I used distress inks/stencilling to echo some of the colours in the images

This one used the pith overlay
And this one is the reckoning one. I love the worn scratched feel to it!

  1. Well, it's an amazing photo to start with - so dramatic and full of foreboding! I like both alterations, but you're right, those scratches are very effective.

  2. Way to go Sally. These two are awesome pages. The photo looks beautiful, the alterations are fantastic, i think the first one looks like an oil painting with that overlay.
