Time to share a birthday card that I made for a pal that lives in France - he knows nothing about my blog so the chances of him stumbling across it are????

Black & white papers, black Stazon ink & a freebie stamp by Rainbow Studios, Tim Holtz flourish & Tattered Floral flowers, some pewter coloured brads and I have just the card for Lionel.

They say that the emblem of France is a cockerel & that he is king of the "basse cour" (the farm yard to us) who can only sing when truly happy - and that would be with both feet in the dung heap!

Home again

Well, I made it home despite the weathers best attempts at keeping us in France...last w/e we managed to have 4ft (1.20m) of snow in just over 48 hours!!! So until I am fully unpacked and able to get to my craft desk I thought I would share some pictures.

Our BMW X3 is under the mound just in front of the dog, Bailey was up to his "armpits" in the white stuff, our patio was in danger of disappearing and the other photo is looking along the street (which did NOT get ploughed!!!)

I promise to post some arty stuff soon.

Reason not to craft!

Well, apologies for the lack of activity but as you can see from the picture, the surroundings are not conducive to doing a lot on the paper front! A train trip down to Nice on Tuesday & today we have gone down to the neighbouring ski resort of Le Seignus d'Allos to enjoy a lunch in one of our favourite restaurants with some friends.....

Bill had his staples out this morning, all 15 of them & has started very gentle physio :-) I am taking things very easy as I have bronchitis :-( what a start to 2013... So here is a nice peaceful photo taken at Clos Pegase winery in California - it soothes me at this time.

Hoping to rescue Bill from the hospital tomorrow morning so we can celebrate together! Cannot believe he went & broke + dislocated his arm on Thursday ( the same one he had surgery on on June)
