I had planned to do this post yesterday but nature intervened...I sat in my workroom watching a baby robin being fed on the patio instead, poor thing looked very sorry for itself as it was raining yet again!!!
So I'll share this wreath which I made last week, more Tim I'm afraid... Tattered Flower Garland Sizzlits this time. The heart is to hang on the kitchen door.
It is still raining and I may even get crafting as I've no desire to be out in the garden even though I should as the weeds are rampant.
This is the one I made this autumn using fabric scraps(silk, cotton, linen) that I then bondaweb-ed onto another fabric so that the leaves would be double-sided. I then used Tim's tattered leaves die plus some acorns, oak galls and blackberries that I picked up in Hobbycraft. I must remember to see what I can find in the Floral Arts department at Michaels & AC Moore's when I go over to California & Maine in september.Looking forward to all the goodies I usually manage to pick up whilst over visiting the kids.
'Til next time...
Awesome wreaths! I love hte use of the dies to make the flowers and leaves. The leaves are perfect for the fall holidays and the flower one is great for anytime of the year..So happy in feel.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful wreaths, the flowers look gorgeous. Rain here as well, best excuse to craft that I know of.
