Stripes

My scraps box has been a goldmine today - the challenge across at fun with ATCs #96 is for stripes and here are some of the results created from discards & leftovers...

This one is my challenge link
A scrap mounted on black & white with lines extended.

And here are a few variations - the make of stamp is unknown but it's been coloured with promarkers
On black.

On brown.

On a piece of TIFFANY catalogue that is almost the perfect shade, again I've extended the lines.

On black.

This also reminded me of a card I made a while back that I've not shared

A dark brown base, a layer of feather edged pink mulberry paper & a layer of sketch pad paper - the stamps are Stampington clearly impressed range (shore cliff & fresh flowers) walnut ink for the weed, seedless preserves for the "plaques" , picked raspberry for the stars but I cannot remember what I used for the row of "scribble" squares!

I added mother of pearl buttons and some strips of ribbon that have been hand stitched onto the top layer of paper. These add-ins all came from the humongous stash box :-)

Enjoy!

  8. Great projects! I love the ATC you're offering up - the lines extending from the coloured panel work so well - it's a fabulous design. The card at the end is amazing too - wonderful textures, and I love the row of buttons. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Fun With ATCs.
