Winter wishes

Time for my share for week 3 on the http://thefunkiejunkie.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/challenge-12-tags-of-christmas-funkie_13.html challenge.

Inspired by the snowflakes I dug into my stash....

A piece of card that had been swiped through some Hydrangea ink, I've given it the water splats treatment and then added some cosmic shimmer sprints using a stiff brush that's been hanging around in the "occasionally used" brush pot. The shimmer is not showing too well here!

A trip through the cuttlebug using a Tim Holtz snowflake folder, I then brayered over the raised surface with pine needle distress ink & another sweep using gold ink.
I've also edged the card with gold ink & EP.

A remnant of white foam has been diecut & small gems attached. A white snowflake, also from the box of Christmas stash, has been added + a greeting strip that I was given last week???it seemed destined for this card.

I just need to link in now with Linda's boutique who are sponsors of the challenge http://www.thefunkiejunkie.com

Hope everyone is staying safe in the strong winds that are raging out there, it's made it a perfect day for me to be stuck indoors crafting.
I was discouraged from visiting by Bill today, they are still struggling to get his blood pressure sorted out. He has been on his feet though & it seems the op went well :-). Here's to getting him home Saturday.

  4. What a beautiful background, Sally. I love how you left so much open space so we could really get the impact of the background. Gorgeous color too! Great to have you playing along with me for week #3 of the 12 Tags of Christmas Funkie Junkie Style!

    Hugs,
