Weekend in my craft room

Colour me positive: quote

And I've just noticed that I forgot to glue the heart down in the quote!

Fixed....

Art journal journey: Image: grass. word: growth. Prompt: raindrops. Technique: incorporate stickers or diecuts. Quote: whatever makes you uncomfortable is your biggest opportunity for growth . Bryant McGill

Life documented: mixed media faces

I've used layers of brown papers for the hair and the assistance of a stencil for the whole! Faces really are not my thing!

And our latest inchie...butterfly and it's a stamped one from my large stamp collection....

  1. I'm relieved about the heart... I spent some moments trying to work out if the quote was meant to read "Sometimes music is the only medicine the squid/seahorse/jellyfish needs" - but it didn't seem quite right somehow. Lovely page now that I understand it!

Really love the flowery umbrella man with all that handwritten script, and the textured face is very cool. Lovely tiny butterfly too, of course.

  4. Lots of lovely pieces of art to take a look at today, I especially love the underwater scene, I am always drawn to seahorses and this one is magnificent on the background you created xxx

  6. Lovely lot of work Sally, I did wonder what the heart saying meant too!!! But I love your rain one - just such a lovely idea - walking in the rain and you have great hand writing! Oh and an adorable butterfly stamp.
