Black & White

It's time for a new monthly prompt over at DLP - reaching for rainbows, creating outside the lines  & this week we are to make our monthly divider, month to view & PAC using only black & white.
Now as I'm not using the binder I'm not making the monthly divider or calendar page but I have done a collage in B&W.

A PAC, a doily folded over the edge of a paper scrap + a doodled sticker at the centre, soardream, spoked circles, handwriting circle all came from stash box, the butterfly is a small piece of washi tape, there's also a small piece of April 2014 calendar - I added more interest by using a stencil & black ink.

The other page has a paper scrap, tai chi advert ( just happens to be a friend of mine!), a lace image that is part of a PAC received in some happy mail from Iceland, another piece of old calendar & a strip of TH washi tape + more stencilling. It's another minute dent in my ephemera collection!

And as it's Monday I've got a new inchie to share....this week our theme is grandma & I've used part of a Paper Artsy stamped image, it was one of the first ones I bought from them. Stamped in mauve to remind me of the fact that old ladies smelt of lavender water "back in the day" she's been cut out & added onto a scrap inch from a previous project.

Today we get the boiler fixed (I hope) so that I no longer will need to top up the pressure on a daily basis - at least it never stopped working! Which is just as well as we are far from having a heatwave in the northeast of Scotland.

TFL & I'll be back again soon :-)

  1. Lots to see on your black and white page. I like that Grandma image, especially in purple. My Nan was a fan of Lily of the Valley, that fact was almost lost until you mentioned the lavender then it popped back into my head.
