TIME

Week 35 over at Journal 52 is all about time and I discovered that I have quite a few time related stamps so after a thin gesso wash over some rather bright "cupcake" patterned paper I set to with an assortment of stamps from Paper Artsy, Tim Holtz & assorted FREE ones I created a multi layered page with some "labels" to add over the top as well as a weathered clock & tiny cog that have been diecut.

I even managed to fit in a rub-on that has been lurking for rather a long time in the big box of stash scraps :-)

DLP

Week 35... Draw a face! Yikes! That is SOOOO far out of my comfort zone and the one that auntie Pam did of me is staying hidden!!!!

Well I am not one to give up easily so I had a look through my stash and have managed 3 pages.

A stencilled face coloured with Promarkers, chocolate baroque leaves in 2 sizes for my green man.
A free Craft Stamper image coloured with DI.
Page 2...

2 Lynne Perella stamped faces, another free stamp with a little colour added and a "happy mail" tag.

Some more "happy mail" images :-)

Twinchie time

I knew I'd missed posting some twinchies but I confess that I'd not realised quite how many....sorry!

Week 1/7 waves

Week 8/7 tropical

Week 29/7 shoes

Week 5/8 boat

Week 19/8 cars

And finally this weeks games

Every inchie Monday

A late post...2 weeks in fact! Plum is a botanical book paper coloured with "seedless preserves" and this weeks theme is Quartz crystal which is a partial stamping of a Lynne Perella stamp (paper artsy)

Time for me to see what I've not yet posted on the twinchie front now....

DLP catch ups

I finished my "under papers" page...
My tag got stuck onto a spotty green page and I used some mop-up papers & dies to create some doilies, I also added afew flowers & a butterfly from the large stash box!!!!

The next challenge was all about numbers and I had plenty of those that related to my week
I used a page that I'd coloured a while ago that just seemed made for the theme :-), added some labels with some details hand written onto them (road numbers, miles & other sundry facts) the tip-in page has been stencilled - I used 3 shades of distress inks, the border is done using inktense pencils and I've added more travel facts.

Now I have the dubious pleasure of drawing a face for the latest DLP! Not quite sure where I'm going to go on this one yet so watch this space.....

DLP & Journal 52

Still on holiday so still working with my limited supplies...

DLP required the use on "under papers" in a creative way this week! I don't use an under paper rather a crafting mat & that's not here either :-( but I did have a "mop-up" tag so a little creative doodling & some added happy mail + a Tim Holtz butterfly in similar colours...

Whilst over at Journal 52 it's all about food

Some packaging, inktense & watercolour pencils as well as a black Sharpie & white Reminisce pen took care of this one...

Yep! It's all about CHOCOLATE :-D

Orange sunshine

Strange title is it not? Well, I thought I'd better post this weeks inchie/twinchie challenge pieces before it was too late....

Orange over at EIM and I've used a pice of packaging from some biscuits, it reminds me of a Cox's Orange Pippin apple

And our twinchie challenge is sunshine again but, oh dear, I seem to no longer have that photo on the iPad! As the said twinchie is in Scotland it will have to await my return to be posted.... What a numptie I am :-(

I've a journal 52 page to create about friendship,as yet no idea what DLP is about but I've got some lovely intense pencils to play with :-D

See you all again soon.....
