Cold
It's been a busy week with the collection of our new car on Monday then a trip down to Edinburgh on Thursday for Bill to see the eye specialist & we have a date for his cataract operation next month! There was snow on the hills when we left so it was a chilly start and a lorry had been surprised by the conditions and skidded into the stream, fortunately the only damage appeared to be to the bridge.
On the journalling front I have done my journal 52 page:

What impact are you having on people around you? Whose touch are you longing for? How much touch are you getting? How could touch enhance your life right now?

Busy
I have managed to get all six of Linda's tags made up as cards ready for Christmas and a new design will be released today so I look forward to seeing what ideas she's had for this!
Her shop https://m.thefunkiejunkie.com/ sponsors the challenge every year and I apologise if my link is not working properly - it did on the first card but I appear to be having problems linking :-(
Linda's image
This is actually number 5 if taken in published order but as I screwed up yesterday with my images....
I have gone with the "logs" background and some stamped postmarks, stamped a large stags head onto cream card and aged the edges before mounting with brads onto a dark red piece of card. I came across some holly sprigs that I diecut last year but never used so they have also been added and some tine cream pearls as berries.
This is linked to Linda's post http://thefunkiejunkie.blogspot.co.uk/ so please go and see what others have been creating.
I have done some journal pages and have more or less caught up with my backlog...

COLOUR ME POSITIVE
- It’s hard to imagine that one person can make a difference in the world. Sometimes I think it is easier to believe that this is true, if you bring your thoughts closers to home.Instead of thinking of ‘how can I make a difference in the world?’, why not start with ‘how can I make a difference in ?????’s life?’. If this seems too big, then why not start with ‘how can I make a difference in ?????’s day?’ (Obviously the question marks represent someone’s name. Whoever you choose.)
Just making someone smile can have a huge impact on the rest of the day. Why not smile at someone today?
This one came with a very weird quote!
- Believe in what you want so much, that it has no choice but to materialise
and as it's Monday there's my inchie to share too....owl which was a favourite of my mum's

Three
And onto number three in the challenge sponsored by https://m.thefunkiejunkie.com/
Here is Linda's tag...
I'm not a huge fan of red but I liked the idea of the stripes and the letters down the side so after a rummage through the stash.....here's what I came up with:
A "tartan" style paper (that is still set on the bias as are Linda's stripes) with some tags spelling out MERRY down the left side - I've attached them with brads also from the stash! No ornaments for me, it's another deer and this one is set in a circle of diecut holly that has had some tiny red gems added for the holly berries and before my non crafting friends ask... yes it was a fiddle getting them stuck on! I did think about turning him into Rudolph but decided that might just be a step too far so without further ado I'm linking to: http://thefunkiejunkie.blogspot.co.uk/2017/10/2017-challenge-12-tags-of-christmas_9.html
