Tag number 3

I realise that I'm out of order with my tag for the 12 tags sponsored by http://www.thefunkiejunkie.com but that's because inspiration has not yet struck on number 2!!!

Check out the original No3 here...

I've gone with the colour, pattern & indeed reindeer... It's also got a poinsettia instead of holly!

I used a stencil rather than the thinlits on mine.

I'll be back with another one soon :-)

Catch up time

After 2 glorious days the yucky weather decided to descend on us so I've been clearing my desk, finishing tags & journal pages....

My Positiv Journal page based on an Audrey Hepburn quote we were given

And more to the point, I have got some of the Funkie Junkie 12 tags done!
www.thefunkiejunkie.com are the sponsors for this.

Here is the one that goes with the first challenge

Please check out the details on the Funkie Junkie blog at this location
and I have used the poinsettia  for my design as well as the colour scheme.

There will be more of these to come!

Tea bags, dryer sheets & fibrous papers

Yes, you read correctly! that's what DLP want us to use for this week's challenge :-)

Happily it is something that I have in my stash & I know exactly which drawer to open - how good can it get!

I've used some paper that I bought from a fabulous shop in Totnes, (it's got little leaves included in the pulp) for the left hand page - the right hand one is using some paper I made from recycled mail & assorted metallic thread snips that came from machine embroidery work I did.

I sprayed some paper scraps (mulberry & dryer sheet) with distress & dylusions that I then diecut used tattered florals as well as using some Japanese newspaper that I acquired on a flight over to the USA a few years ago! The flowers have been glued down, sometimes layered as well, and then I done some doodling & stamping in the gaps.

The pages feel quite wonderful!

On time

I cannot believe that it's Monday morning again....times a flying! I will hold back from boring people with how many sleeps to Christmas as it will scare the living day lights out of you if Halloween didn't!

Every inchie monday is about emotion this week & I have this one for you...

And I even have an ATC too...

Hope you like them, have a fun day...I'm heading out to Ballater with Bill so he can get his new bike checked over. TFL....

Halloween

I don't seem to have done much this year in the way of Halloween crafting other than spray painting my pumpkins copper, putting some Fall foliage bellies up at the lounge window and a small banner at the back door!

Just as well that my challenujournals have been taking up the theme!

Journal 52- hauntingly beautiful

I was a wonferful house in North Conway that had spooky written all over it & managed to get pictures in sun as well as grey light....
Here's my share using the sunny day version & a little FX tweaking
Some Washi tape, die-cut spider web, stamped pumpkins & splatters!

At Positiv Journal it's all about our fears....

As a small child it was spiders, "skellingtons", ghosts & haunted houses

The same house, slightly different angle because we were driving along....and these days my fears are more about large spiders & death. God forbid I should ever meet a tarantula or camel spider! It could result in my two fears at the same time lol!

Birthday birdie

Almost November & my eldest granddaughter will turn 13, how did that happen I wonder!

I could not use pink as that's a very big no-no! There's a tiny piece though, in the form of a very small wing :-D

Woohoo

I managed to get up to date!

Positiv Journal perfection.....

It's an impossible state to reach so I went grungy thanks to stencils & stamps!

And over on DLP: glassine/windows of my mind....I went quite warped because I couldn't!

Left:

Window detail with glassine glass...and a spider web!

Behind the glass is my brain....

On the right its more stencilling, stamping & a diecut frame....

Behind the glassine....
A phrenology styled head! (Paper Artsy Lynne Perella)

Maybe now I might find time to squeeze in a Tim tag & make a start on the Funkie Junkie 12 tags of Christmas,  keep your fingers crossed for me!
