Twinchie time

One of my blog friends, Julia, has joined in a twinchie challenge and, as it looked like fun, I thought I would join her!

I just happened to have a couple of pieces of paper that had been coloured for other projects that seemed to fit with the stamp I wanted to use. One is shades of green & blue distress inks whilst the other is a piece that had been stencilled , crumbled & inked then ironed...

So out came the stamp, one that came with Craft Stamper (back in August 2005!) I have stamped with black pigment ink & clear embossed in both cases.

The green one has had some soft green & denim blue Promarkers added to the fish & the borders, then a little iridescent glitter to give some sheen to the scales of the fish.
The blueish mauve one has had Lavender  & pastel green Promarkers used on the borders, the water has some pastel blue & pastel green bands and the fish has been coloured in bluebell & blossom.  Again I have added some glitter for the scales but the aqua really seemed too strong so I have actually scrubbed quite a lot of it off..

I shall mount these onto some small square cards to nake notelets.

I am going to enter the green one for the challenge :-)

  1. Excellent twinchies! I am so glad you had a go because these are really lovely. I must have missed August 2005 craft Stamper magazine as I don't know these fish, the image is great and I love the colours.
