Week end

A lovely week has given way to cooler & windy weather so I've come in from the garden & got some more journal pages done....

Journal 52: cards

I chose to use some of the lovely cards that I've received as part of my "happy mail" swaps along with some Underpaper, stamping & doodling

It was nice to be able to use these delightful cards rather than covering them with paint.

DLP continues it's  colour safari, this week it's acrylics & the prompt is "cry me a river".

2 shades of acrylic on the page, the same on a spare piece of paper which I stamped with a chocolate Baroque stamp that looks like water ripples, I added some white pen after using a shade of dark blue ink/clear EP.

  1. Your pages and those cards look fabulous, it would have been a shame to paint over those ones.

  2. Loved the pages with the cards - a great way of storing them too, much better than painting over them.

  3. The water ripple pages are fantastic, that is a great stamp you have used. I like the playing card pages too, how lovely to find a way to display those cards.
