I managed to put together a quick page for journal 52- calendar
A free calendar, some stencilling, a motif cut from an adult colouring book. The desk at home is cleared so I had to make it be fast & simple....
Every chief Monday was a real challenge, MYTH here is where it took me...
For my ATC I did slightly better
I'm off out for the day so I'll see what I can come up with for next weeks challenge...
I love the calendar page, it looks great, it may be cultural but I don't get the inchie reference. But I like it. I love the colors on your ATC. Have fun with the grandkids.
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a wonderful trip. Sounds like some great purchases...you will have fun playing with those once home again.
ReplyDeleteYour calendar page looks great!

Oh - it's an acrostic - but I don't understand the top hat reference- must be a colloquial phrase - love when inchies are challenging! - the colours on your ATC are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteGreat projects Sally. Sounds like you are collecting crafty stash already. have a fantastic time with the family.

I adore your response to 'myth'! Love the ATC.
ReplyDeleteYou are hilarious, Sally! It's just a different way of looking at the challenge, right?! Great work as always, creativity abounds! Have a brilliant day! c
ReplyDeleteYour inchie isn't that bad :-) I like it when it's a bit different! Beautiful colors on your atc.
ReplyDeleteFabulous ATC and calendar page. And you are super to take the challenge even if you don't find the perfection... that's how we grow!
ReplyDeleteGreat calendar page Sally, participation is never failure, so for me your inchie made the grade.
ReplyDeleteHave a great time with the family, and enjoy your spending spree(s).

I so admire your ability to keep up with your projects even when travelling. Have a great time and you are going to have so much fun with that gelli plate.
ReplyDeleteThese were all done before I came away Julia & we have the inchie list by the end of the year so you can work ahead on them when necessary lol. I've not done next week so I'm in trouble there!!!!
DeleteWell, your nchie is certainly thinking out of the box this week. Love the ATC. Where abouts do you live, if you are near Loch Ness ?
ReplyDeletePlenty outside! I actually live in Banchory so I'm 1 hour drive to Aviemore & about 1.30 to Loch Ness
DeleteI love your ATC - it looks wonderful with these colours! Have a nice day :-)
ReplyDeleteI think that's a really clever MYTHic improvisation! And the ATC is wonderful. Glad to hear you're making the most of the shopping opportunities!
