So after missing last week completely I am here to make amends! I have a textured inch....it's a piece of metal from a takeaway dish that's been through the cuttlebug & then rubbed with a little paint to better show the texture
I'll be visiting you all this week, apologies again for my lack of commenting.....
Sooo nice to see you, Sally! Love your inchie this week. But your solution to last week's inchie is MEGA fantastic! Why didn't you go with it? You know the painting Black Square by Malevich - have a look here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Square_(painting)

no worries about missing, it happens. I love the inchie. What a great idea
ReplyDeleteLovely textured metal inchie. You should have gone for your yoghurt inchie. At school a hundred years ago I took some grey paper to do my painting on, sat down, told the teacher I had finished. He came to look and I told him it was of a very foggy day. He was a friend of the family and knew my dad who was teaching in the next room had put me up to it. Luckily I didn't have to write 100 lines about not taking notice of what parents say.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back, Sally. I know what you mean. It is very difficult to do catch-up. I think your textured piece is brilliant!
ReplyDeletegreat example of texture - i think a plain white square would have made a fine yogurt inchie - good ideas
ReplyDeleteGreat idea and great little inchie!
