I've been having some fun with my journals....
Colour me positive : HOPE
I had used my gelli plate to put some paint down on my pages & I decided that as the colours were quite springlike I would stay at that spread & do a collage with various elements from my stash box - it feels good to be using bits & pieces that I've had for ages.
The nest came from a stampin' up catalogue, the bird tile was part of a Graphic 45 freebie pack, the bird ticket ??? The daffodil corner came from a book I dismantled ages ago & the round bird tile is from another freebie pack. On the right hand page I've got a mini image from the back of a birthday card - it's apple blossom, the pink flower was another freebie as is the row of trees along the bottom, the strip of green washer die cut paper is a leftover from another project & the small flower tile placed over it came from an ATC, the paper border & lace on the opposite page were also in the stash box.
Art prompts galore: SPACE
I found this image in some colouring pages on the recolor app, I don't know if it's a Liechtenstein image or not but it reminded me of Jane Fonda in Barbarella!
I printed it off....and ended up with a smaller version....lost strips at the sides!
She's been lightly coloured with metallic silver & pewter pencils for her space suit & ive added space related movies down the left (including spelling error star treck instead of Star Trek!) and a list of the planets down the other side.
Journal 52 SEEDS & include a quote
More paint spread over the page & a little texture going on that I think was created with a wooden picnic knife! I've stamped dandelion type seeds around the edge of the page, added a couple of stencilled seed heads with versamark & holographic embossing powder. I wrote my quote & added a stamped / coloured image of a watering can full of flowers
After all that fun it was time to cook supper.... A real treat at home....Wild red deer loin steaks that I pan fried & then flambéed with some brandy, baby tomatoes & caramelised roasted parsnips with garlic confit....washed down with a couple of glasses of Prosecco wine....very fine it was too!
Fantastic journal pages Sally, all with so many lovely things on them to look at. Your evening meal looks delicious.

That is a very determined looking space girl, I scanned the film list to see how many I had seen and noticed Alien which was on TV last night. Those parsnips look yummy! xx
