Week 52

The big day is done & dusted and we can now all relax....I was lucky enough to be able to speak to my 3 grandchildren thanks to the magic technology of the internet and they all seem to have had a wonderful Christmas across the pond, the eldest in California with her dad & the other 2 in Maine - happy days!

We were the warmest place in the UK yesterday with temperatures of 15.5 C (mid 50's) and this morning....we wake to snow and also the sad news of the loss of another sweet voice George Michael, what a year!

Our final inchie of 2016 is letter and I toyed with various options in my stamp collection but eventually decided that I just had to go with Z!

I can't believe that this time next week will be a new year- here's hoping it's a good one for all....thanks for all the visits & comments this year, keep them coming as I love to read your messages and I be coming to see you all too.

  2. Glad you had a good Christmas - snow! I love snow - better than this horrid rain, rain, rain, although having said that the sun is actually shining today and the winds have dropped so a nice after Christmas day! Always love your work and what better letter to end the last challenge of this years Every Inchie Monday than the last letter in the alphabet? Good choice. Have a Happy New Year love Jenny J

  6. Great inchie Sally.
You had snow, we've had gales and today cold though it is the sun is shining. Typical weather for our country.
Glad you had a good Christmas, hope the New Years a good one for you and the family.

  7. A fabulous niche, great idea to use Z. You can keep the snow, as long as we don't get too much rain. Have a super 2017
