A bittersweet moment for me! Today is the day my brother would have been 55! I still have difficulty getting my head around the fact that he is not here anymore.....
As it's Rudolph day I have xmas cards to share
Also journal 52 has moved from Friday to Wednesday so here is my version of stillness
And colour me positive is all about perseverance...I did a spread & realised it was in the wrong journal! So it true " perseverance " spirit I did another!
I hope the wintry blast in the UK has not been too cruel...we are due snow here on Tuesday just as we are due to leave on our journey home to Scotland!
I will see you soon....
Such a beautiful collection of cards Sally

Can't imagine life without my brother - sending hugs as you remember him. All one can do is persevere, and you've shown you can do that with two brilliant pages. The Stillness page is fabulous too - love the idea of the still statues frozen in stone, but they also give a sense of mental stillness and serenity - a great double.

What a lovely lot of cards you have made for Rudolph Day. As they kept saying when we wee on holiday in Thailand "Same, same, but different"! Good use of a cute little Santa image. Kate x
ReplyDeleteGreat art Sally, love the 'stillness' page capturing moments in time.

A gorgeous background on the stillness page, it works so well with the pictures of statues and the photos. You have 8 more Christmas cards, well done. I admire your work always and am thinking of you as you remember your brother. x
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, you got so many cards made. You put me to shame as I did not even manage one card for the Rudolph post!
ReplyDeleteLovely cards each and every one.
I was sorry to read that you have lost your whole family. I have two sisters left. We are not close but I have a fabulous husband and children. I treasure them and they helped me get thru Mum's passing. The were very close to her, but were glad to see she did not suffer anymore.
Brilliant collection of RD cards, super Santa.
