Colours

we have flown across the pond and are now in Maine, the colourful Fall has yet to happen locally but we plan to head into the white mountains on Monday so we shall see if things are better there.
Today we are going on a boat trip but we have had a busy week....

Chainsaw carved animals in Freeport at the LLBean "campus"

Metal scrap artwork in Wolfeboro... I wish I could show the fabulous opals that are sold there!

Apple picking yesterday at Thompson's orchard where they do hay rides...

And I have 1 small piece of art this week, my inchie, and it's got nothing to do with the sea!
Boa....but I chose to do snakeskin as I'm not keen on snakes!

  1. I'm glad someone else did the scales Sally, I was feeling I had cheated a bit! Love your pics and it sounds as if you have a busy time ahead...I especially like the ceramic (?) fish! Have fun, Dxx

  3. Love all your pictures Sally, we saw carvings like that in Vancouver up Grouse Mountain - such talent. Love your snake skin - very good way to depict a snake and sounds like you're having a fab time. Enjoy x Jenny

  4. Oh dear - I've missed far too much.... Looks like you're on a fantastic trip, and it's great to see some of what you're seeing. Really clever work on the inchie!
