Boxes

Paper Artsy are having a boxes challenge...as I have no time to craft at the moment thanks to a little sharp toothed puppy I thought I'd revisit some textile boxes that I don't think I ever shared

These were done in the style of a reliquary after a course with Janet Edmonds on an Embroiderers Guild summer school course

First Monday in May

This week we travel to the United Kingdom, A country I call home. I was born here in southern England before moving abroad in 1960, I returned to this country in 1979 when I moved to Scotland which another of four lands that make up this kingdom, The other two being Wales and Northern Ireland. I share with you my man slag and a postage stamp depicting Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth who are our two longest reigning Monarchs.

Meanwhile Brodie has arrived.....

And whilst he knows how to look cute he also knows how to wear us out! So, yes, I've not finished any other art.....roll on nap time!
