This week we travel to the United Kingdom, A country I call home. I was born here in southern England before moving abroad in 1960, I returned to this country in 1979 when I moved to Scotland which another of four lands that make up this kingdom, The other two being Wales and Northern Ireland. I share with you my man slag and a postage stamp depicting Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth who are our two longest reigning Monarchs.
Meanwhile Brodie has arrived.....
And whilst he knows how to look cute he also knows how to wear us out! So, yes, I've not finished any other art.....roll on nap time!
Nice set of inchies for the UK. I have never seen that stamp before, very nice.
ReplyDeleteI like to let you know that if I don't respond to a post it is not because I am not interested, but my husband and I travel regularly.
We just have been to Madrid and at the end of the month we are going to the USA for a month and than I just don't have te time to visit blogs and respond.
My posts for the EIM blog and on my own blog are than scheduled and Margriet always put the link button on it.
I totally understand Jolande, I travel a lot myself & know it's not always possible to get to the comments! Enjoy your trip to America & don't forget to save a little space in your luggage for some craft supplies!
DeleteSally I also planned a visit to Michaels, so perhaps I need to bring an empty suitcase with me hahaha
DeleteMaybe! Depending on where you are I can also recommend a.c.moore and JoAnns.
DeleteI will keep my eyes open for them and also for Hobby Lobby.
ReplyDeleteWe are making a tour from San Francisco through a few National Parks to Santa Fe and back to LA and the coast to SF again.
No a.c.moore on the west coast which is a beautiful area, my stepson & wife live just outside San Francisco so I have seen a little of that immediate area as well as napa valley and down to Carmel/ Monterey . I hope you have good weather whilst you are there as the Bay Area can be prone to fog .
DeleteOh Sally Brodie is so adorable, but I think I can say from experience that this is not always the look a new puppy can keep for long. I am sure he will be full of mischief and like a tornado around the house in these early months. Enjoy, he is keeping you both fit and I'm sure that when he sleeps you will be able to get you feet up for a while.
ReplyDeleteFantastic inchies as well.
Yvonne xx
Oh, the mischief is there! I do the lifting in the night when he needs to go out & Bill does the early morning shift. He's off golfing Wednesday morning, most of Thursday on an outing & wants to go to see the international knights combat festival at Scone palace just outside Perthon Friday so I'm going to have my work cut out this week!
DeleteSafe travels! Brodie is just adorable, but I can well believe there's mischief lurking behind those big, soulful eyes!

Oh what a pet Brodie is, thanks for sharing these images. The worse time with a pup has been for me when they are teething, I still have a couple of precious books with the edge of their lower spines chewed to ribbons to prove it! I also remember one morning when the four smalls had barely a pair of shoes between them, and that was a pug! Also, I realise I forgot all about Northern Ireland when writing my UK post, hope they forgive me! Dx
ReplyDeleteGreat inchies and a fabulous new family member.
ReplyDeleteGreat inchies and I'm in love with Brodie! So cute :-)
