I'm taking part in the http://thefunkiejunkie.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/challenge-12-tags-of-christmas-funkie_20.html and for the one I've taken inspiration from Linda's colours & pinked edges on the topper...
The card itself has been stamped using Rubber Tapestry stamps in DI evergreen bough & festive berries.
The topper has been created with a Stampendous frame stencil/ evergreen bough & the stamp was a free one inked with red pigment ink as are the edges.
I added 2 little red gems to the image.
I'm linking this the the challenge which is sponsored by http://www.thefunkiejunkie.com/
What a pretty card. I'm a traditional red and green Christmas colors girl and this is lovely. The stylized look of the focal image is beautiful and I love that you kept the red/green color scheme. Awesome stamped background too. So glad to see you are still with us for week #4!

Hi Sally
ReplyDeleteI'm pleased it isn't Christmas yet too!! Far too much to do in the next few weeks in preparation!
Have been having a little backtrack on your blog. Love your Christmas tags and the Halloween tags you did earlier .. .. but as for your Rudolph Day makes. Well what can I say? So many .. .. and all so very different! Brilliant!
Many thanks for your lovely comment on my blog last night. You are very kind.
Have a great weekend. Is your nurses outfit washed, ironed and ready?
Love Jules xx
