12 tags of 2012- October
Hi everyone! Yes I am finally back at my desk, sorry it's been a while but I went on a lovely holiday to visit the family in America (and get "supplies" that I have been wanting)
So it is time for the October tag and with only a few days to spare...
Surprise, surprise, I did not have any of Tim's goodies- some things never change! But who said I could not improvise?
I have stamped some tissue paper with stamps from A C Moore & Michaels that I bought several years ago (jack o lantern & trick or treat).
The tissue paper was coloured with distress inks rather than stains (Wild Honey/ Spiced Marmalade/ Rusty Hinge/ Seedless Preserves).
The cobweb stamp is a Martha Stewart one, BOO & 31 are die-cuts, the bat & spider came from a mixed bag I bought at the Dollar Store (rings).
I did try to make the black glitter but had no dry Stickles or black Alcohol in- my efforts with white glitter & regular black ink were not worth using so gave it a miss.

Less is more Oval
This time I already had a card! I made it a couple of days before the theme came out so a very happy coincidence.
A square card, a piece of paper from my stash that I have punched at the corners and then inked around the edges in Worn Lipstick, another paper scrap from my stash, a white oval die cut stamped with mittens (Polka Doodles). I have edged the oval with Worn Lipstick & added a tiny amount of glitter to the snowflake on the mittens.
Keep warm!

CAS Friday 69
This week the challenge is to use black, white & a colour and with this been the lea up to Halloween & all things pumpkin I decided to make this card....
White card card, black card cut with around the page Martha Stewart punches, happy Halloween banner is a Martha Stewart stamp and the pumpkin is pale orange card die cut with a spellbinders die that I have then stencilled through to deepen the orange using Ripe Persimmon.
Happy Halloween indeed!

ATC Halloween
Felt rather autumnal after a walk round our local national trust property this morning and decided to make a few ATCs!
A Tim Holtz embossing folder, some orange card, Martha Stewart & Chocolate Baroque stamps, distress inks & Promarkers ... Here is what happened
